Family audience means a entire household of 4 members to 14 members depending on whether it is a joint or nuclear family. There should be something in the film for everyone like a popular star, comedy, songs, heavy sentiments and probably a happy ending. Some of these families visit a theatre only twice or thrice a year and they prefer to go for a superstar film.
It is a triangular fight between the two superstar- Mammootty with Big Band Mohanlal with Chota Mumbai. Also in the race are Dileep with Vinodayatra, Narain with Panthayakozhi and Kavya Madhavan in Athisayam.
